Light Roast TieguanyinChina, Anxi Oolong Tea

Loosely rolled and twisted leaf on the smaller side, dull green and with a subtle floral scent. There is a momentary piquancy in the flavor but it is otherwise neutral and vegetal. The infusion is yellow-green and the wet leaf is different from other rolled oolongs: it is not branchlike and the leaves are not attached to stems, they are separate. There is a very faint cold fish or sashimi nuance at the very end. All in all, it's a pretty mild tea.
